Drug Formulation

Dried ginger (roasted): 2 qian; white alum (calcined until all liquid is gone): 2 qian; sulfur (finely ground): 2 qian; cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed): 1 fen; cardamom seed: 1 fen; aconite root (roasted until cracked, outer skin and pith removed): 1 fen; evodia fruit (washed in boiling water, dried in an oven, and stir-fried): 1 fen; cardamom: 1 fen; chela bark: 1 fen.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using a wheat flour paste.
