Drug Formulation

Diding root (either yellow-flowered or purple-flowered Diding, washed with water) 2 qian, Angelica dahurica 2 qian, oyster shell 2 qian, burdock seed 2 qian, honeysuckle 2 qian, dried silkworm 2 qian, gardenia 2 qian, Schizonepeta spikelets 2 qian, blue wood fragrant 2 qian, madder root 2 qian, licorice 1 qian.

Instructions for Use

Use 2 bowls of a mixture of wine and water; decoct until reduced to 1 bowl, strain out the residue, then add 1 qian each of realgar and frankincense, and 2 fen of musk—all ground separately into a fine powder—mix well and take orally.

Note

Contraindicated for pregnant women.
