Drug Formulation

1 fen of musk, 1 qian of frankincense (processed), 1 qian of myrrh (processed), 1 qian of mercury oxide,1 qian of black cinnabar, 1 qian of realgar, 1 qian of dog’s gallbladder, 2 qian of toad venom, 3 qian of borax, 3 qian of beeswax, 5 qian of arsenic trioxide, 1 carp gallbladder, 1 dog gallbladder, 7 golden-headed centipedes (whole, butter-yellow in color), and 1 liang of breast milk from a first-time mother.

Processing

First, boil the beeswax and breast milk together to form a paste. Grind the remaining 13 ingredients into a fine powder. Then, mix the powder with the beeswax-breast milk paste to form pills the size of mung beans (for children, the size of a rapeseed).

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; for severe cases, take 3 pills. Grind 7 white cloves (reduce to half for children) into a powder, mix with cold boiled water, and swallow the mixture. Cover with a blanket until sweating occurs. If there are no sores or swellings on the head, relief will be achieved after 1–2 doses.
