Drug Formulation

Cinnabar (ground) 12 liang, Atractylodes macrocephala (stem removed) 12 liang, Poria cocos (black skin removed) 12 liang, Alisma orientale (washed, coarsely chopped) 12 liang, Poria cocos (red, skin removed) 12 liang, Cinnamomum cassia (coarse bark removed) 8 liang.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose, dissolved in boiling water, at any time. For heatstroke with thirst and dark, scanty urine, dissolve in freshly drawn water; for children with heat in the palms and soles, restlessness, frequent crying, clenched teeth, and a head-throwing motion resembling a startle reaction, take half a qian per dose, dissolved in warm boiled water.
