Drug Formulation

1 liang of Ephedra (roots and nodes removed), half a liang of Evodia (soaked in boiling water 7 times, oven-dried, and lightly roasted), 1 liang of Dehuo, half a liang of Gentiana (stems removed), 1 liang of Apricot Kernels (soaked in boiling water to remove skin and tips; remove the double kernels; stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), half a liang of Asarum, 1 liang of Atractylodes, 1 liang of Red Poria,Cinnamon Bark (Gui Xin) half liang, Ginseng half liang (root tip removed), Dried Ginger half liang (roasted until cracked, coarsely chopped), Fangfeng half liang (root tip removed), Han Fangji half liang, Chuanxiong half liang, Licorice half liang (lightly roasted until reddish, coarsely chopped).

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose; decoct in 1 medium bowl of water until reduced to 6 fen; strain and drink while warm, at any time.
