Drug Formulation

1 liang of rhubarb, 18 zhu of scutellaria, 18 zhu of trichosanthes root, 18 zhu of licorice, half a liang of cinnamon bark, 2 liang of talc, half a liang of oyster shell, half a liang of ginseng, half a liang of dragon bone, half a liang of gypsum, half a liang of white calcite, half a liang of sodium carbonate (one version adds half a liang of amethyst).

Instructions for Use

Boil with 4 sheng of water until reduced to 1.5 sheng; administer 3 he at a time, ensuring the entire dose is taken within one day and one night; continue administration even if the child vomits.
