Processing

Place the two ingredients on a new tile and roast until golden brown; grind into a fine powder; mix with aged cooked wine to form pills.

Instructions for Use

Take 6 qian per dose; reduce by half for those who are weak. At the fifth watch (at cockcrow), slowly swallow the pills with warm aged wine. Shortly thereafter, a slight abdominal pain will be felt, indicating the expulsion of pathogenic accumulations, and menstruation will resume immediately. After menstruation resumes, consume only rice porridge with well-cooked Chinese chives for 4–5 consecutive days, then take one dose of Modified Four Substances Decoction or Six Flavors Pills.

Note

Do not use this formula for patients with chronic diarrhea.
