Drug Formulation

Ginseng (root removed) 1 liang, Poria cocos (peeled) 1 liang, Platycodon grandiflorus (roasted) 1 liang, Bupleurum chinense (stems removed) 1 liang, Licorice (roasted) 1 liang, Dried tangerine peel (pith removed) 1 liang, Angelica sinensis (root removed) 1 liang, Gentiana macrophylla (washed) 1 liang,Chuanxiong 1 liang, Ejiao (stir-fried with clam powder) 1 liang, Banxia (soaked in hot water 7 times) 1 liang, Bai Zi Ren 1 liang, Cao Guo Zi 1 liang, Wuyao 1 liang, Bai Shaoyao 3 qian, Huangqi (honey-fried) 3 qian,turtle shell (roasted with rice vinegar) 3 qian, Rehmannia root (boiled until tender) 3 qian, dried black plum flesh 3 qian, Schisandra berries 3 qian, areca nut half a qian, Lycium bark (without the central pith), Wood Fragrance 1 qian (not heated), Cinnamon bark 1.5 qian (with coarse outer bark removed, not heated).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Take 4 qian per dose; add 1.5 zhan of water, 3 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 jujubes. Decoct until reduced to 8 fen, strain, and take at any time.
