Drug Formulation

Tussilago flower 2 liang, Aster tataricus (soil removed) 2 liang, licorice (roasted) 2 liang, cinnamon (coarse bark removed) 2 liang, ephedra (knots removed) 2 liang, dried ginger (roasted) 2 liang, schisandra 2 liang, apricot kernels (soaked in hot water, skin and tip removed, stir-fried) 2 liang, pinellia (boiled in water until soft, then dried in an oven) 2 liang, Asarum (stems and leaves removed) 1 liang.

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1 zhan of water, 5 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 jujubes (split open). Decoct together until reduced to 7 fen. Strain and take while warm; take at any time.
