Processing
Crush the above herbs as appropriate. Fry them in 240 liang of sesame oil until charred black, filter out the residue, and refine the oil until a drop forms a bead. Add 100 liang of cinnabar and stir evenly to form a paste. Remove from heat and place in cold water to neutralize the heat toxicity, then reheat to melt.Separately prepare the fine ingredients: Frankincense 2 liang, Myrrh 2 liang, Camphor 2 liang, Cinnamon Bark 2 liang, Aconite Root 2 liang, Sulfur 2 liang. Grind all six ingredients into a fine powder, mix thoroughly, and spread into plasters; each plaster should contain 5 qian of oil.
