Drug Formulation

5 jin of sesame oil, 8 liang of wood turtle seeds, and 5 packets of yellow丹 (roasted and ground) (6 liang per packet).

Processing

Add the Euphorbia seeds to the oil and simmer until they are completely dried out; strain them out. Simmer again until a drop of the mixture forms a bead when dropped into water. Add the yellow丹 and simmer further, checking the consistency. Pour into a porcelain jar or basin and soak in water to remove the heat.

Instructions for Use

Apply as a poultice.
