Drug Formulation

For injuries affecting the head and waist: 4 liang of dried gourd (stir-fried with ginger juice), 2 liang of Asarum, 2 liang of Sichuan Gan Song, 1 liang of raw alum, 2 liang of soapstone alum (processed with vinegar), 4 liang of raw rhubarb, 4 liang of wood apple (stir-fried with ginger juice), 4 liang of akebia, 1 liang of frankincense, 4 liang of talc, 4 liang of coriander, and 1 liang of ginger peel.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into an extremely fine powder, mix with water to form pills, and coat with cinnabar.

Benefits

For epidemic diseases, abdominal pain, cholera with muscle cramps, and acute cases of vomiting and diarrhea; or for dry cholera.

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose; reduce to half for young children, and take with Fuluogan Decoction. If vomiting occurs immediately after ingestion, do not hesitate to take another dose; a rapid effect is guaranteed.

Note

If the condition is not cholera, this formula must not be taken.
