Alternatively, soak in tofu slop and knead three times;then soak in well water once to remove the pungent taste, prevent the formation of sores, and avoid reigniting the fire; stir continuously until it becomes a paste. When slightly warm, add 2 liang of asafoetida (roasted on bamboo leaves and ground into powder); alternatively, it may be ground together with cinnabar.
