Processing

Finely chop the roots, stems, and leaves, place them in a pot, gradually pour in 5 dou of ash-free liquor, boil until thickened, strain out the dregs, then simmer again into a paste, and transfer to a new porcelain container.

Instructions for Use

Additionally, collect the sap from the southeast-facing roots of the mulberry tree and set it aside. For patients, administer one spoonful each of the aforementioned ointment and the mulberry sap, mixed with hot, ash-free wine. Cover the patient with thick clothing and bedding to induce sweating; the medication should be taken in a well-sealed room. After the patient regains consciousness from the intoxication, wash the affected flesh with warm water infused with mulberry branches, then dress the patient in brocade garments and ensure they are not exposed to drafts.
