Instructions for Use

Place realgar and lamp wick inside the rooster, spray vinegar and rice wine over it, and apply it to the chest for the duration of one stick of incense. If the treatment lasts less than the duration of one stick of incense, the toxin has not been drawn out; if it lasts too long, the toxin will instead be drawn inward. If the toxin is severe, the lamp wick will turn black and emit an unbearable stench.
