Drug Formulation

Magnolia Bark (Houpo, with coarse bark removed) 1 jin (split into 16 slices); plump fresh ginger 1 jin (pounded to a pulp; add boiling water gradually in a pot until the ginger flavor fades, then remove; roast the Magnolia Bark); Dried Ginger half a jin (pounded with half a jin of licorice root; boil until the licorice flavor fades, then remove; slice the dried ginger and roast); Aconite Root (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 4 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using cooked jujube pulp.
