Drug Formulation

1 liang of agarwood, 2 liang of sulfur (melted until it forms a black cinnabar-like mass; allow to cool, then grind into a fine powder), 2 liang of black tin (weighed after removing impurities), half a liang of Achyranthes root (soaked in wine), half a liang of Atractylodes macrocephala (roasted), half a liang of Cistanche (soaked in wine), 3 qian of cloves,1 liang Sichuan melia fruit (pits removed, use the flesh), 1 liang wood fragrant, 1 liang fennel (roasted), 1 liang cardamom (baked), 1 liang broken paper (roasted), 1 liang cinnamon bark (coarse outer bark removed), 1 liang aconite root (roasted, skin and navel removed), 1 liang fenugreek (roasted), 1 liang Yangqishi (calcined).

Processing

Grind all the above herbs and 4 liang of sand into a fine powder. Mix with a paste made from glutinous rice flour and wine to form pills the size of a tung seed.
