Drug Formulation

Fenugreek (roasted over low heat) 2 liang, Achyranthes root (soaked in wine, then baked) 2 liang, Imported anise (soaked in wine, then roasted) 2 liang,Cistanche (soaked in wine, baked) 2 liang, Sichuan Dipsacus (sorted, used raw) 2 liang, Thick Eucommia (rough bark removed, processed with ginger, stir-fried until the fibers break) 2 liang, Gastrodia 2 liang, Angelica (soaked in wine, baked) 1 liang, Myrrh (ground separately) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder; take 2 liang of mugwort (stems and stalks removed), 2 large wood apples, cut off the tops and remove the seeds, fill them with the mugwort until full, secure the tops, insert bamboo needles, tie with hemp thread, steam until soft, grind into a fine paste, mix with the powder to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Take 70 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine or salted broth.
