Drug Formulation

2 liang of areca nut, 2 liang of Acanthopanax senticosus, 2 liang of Polygonatum odoratum, 2 liang of Areca catechu peel, 2 qian of Beijing-grown Curcuma zedoaria, 2 qian of Curcuma zedoaria var. pong-e, 2 qian of Cnidium monnieri, 2 qian of Aquilaria agallocha, 4 liang of licorice, 10 liang of rhubarb (roasted), 2 qian of borax, and 1.5 liang of Pharbitis nil (raw, ground into a fine powder).

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose at the very beginning of the fifth watch, before the rooster crows and while others are still unaware. Mix with fresh well water and swallow; by dawn, the ailment will naturally be expelled and the harmful substances will be discharged. Only then should one begin tonifying treatment.
