Drug Formulation
10 liang of beeswax (genuine), 100 seeds of croton (remove the husks, grind into powder, wrap in several layers of paper and pound until oil seeps through; replace the paper as needed until all oil is extracted and a white frost forms—this is the ideal result), 3 qian of frankincense (chopped and ground), 70 apricot kernels (remove skins and tips, grind finely, and remove oil using the same method as for croton seeds), 1 liang of cloves (dried from Huai),Frankincense 1 liang (wrapped in damp paper and roasted), Dried Ginger 1 liang (roasted), Cardamom 1 liang (wrapped in flour and roasted), Piper longum 1 liang, Areca Nut 1 liang, Green Tangerine Peel 1 liang (washed in hot water, pith removed, and stir-fried), Hundred Herbs Ash 1 liang (finely sifted), Sliced Turmeric 1 liang.

Processing
Except for Croton seed powder, Hundred Herbs Ash, apricot kernels, and frankincense, grind the remaining ingredients into a fine powder, then mix them thoroughly with the previous four ingredients.First, melt 10 liang of beeswax in a silver or stone vessel until it becomes liquid; filter out the dregs through a thick cotton cloth. Add 1 sheng of high-quality, ash-free wine to a silver or stone vessel, bring the wax to a boil, and remove it after it has boiled vigorously several times. Allow it to cool; the wax will naturally float to the surface of the wine. Discard the wine. When preparing this formula in spring or summer, use 1 liang of clear sesame oil,and 1.5 liang in autumn and winter. Simmer in a large silver vessel until fragrant and fully cooked. Next, add the wine and melted wax, blending them into a liquid. While still hot, mix thoroughly with the aforementioned medicinal powder until perfectly uniform. Allow to set slightly, then divide into doses and store in a jar. Wait half a month before taking. When ready to take, roll into pills the size of radish seeds.
