Drug Formulation

Pangolin Scale (calcined to preserve its nature, or stir-fried) 1 liang; White Angelica Root 5 qian (half raw, half stir-fried); Sichuan Rhubarb 5 qian (half raw, half steamed). (One formula includes 1 liang of turtle shell, roasted with wine.)

Instructions for Use

Take 3 qian per dose, mixed with wine; for severe cases, mix with a decoction of Zhenren Huomai Decoction. If abdominal pain is felt, it indicates that the pus and toxins are being expelled through the stool.
