1 qian of genuine cow bile, 1 qian of genuine asafoetida, 5 qian of southern frankincense, 5 qian of genuine thunderball, and 2 qian of chicken gizzard skin (from a string-fed chicken, washed and dried).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 liang of ground Shijunzi (shells removed), add 7 qian of the aforementioned mixture, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed using a paste made from sifted white flour.
