Drug Formulation

2 liang of cow plum (half used raw, half lightly roasted), 1 liang of bat droppings (lightly roasted), 1 fen of musk (finely ground), 1 liang of Sichuan rhubarb (chopped, lightly roasted), 3 fen of Clematis root, 1 liang of amber (finely ground), 1 liang of areca nut,Green tangerine peel 3 fen (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, and baked), Beijing-grown Acorus 1 liang (lightly roasted and coarsely chopped), Sichuan Aconite 3 fen (roasted until cracked, skin and navel removed), Achyranthes root 3 fen (stems removed), Red Peony root 3 fen,Peach Kernel 3 fen (soaked in hot water, remove skin, tip, and double kernels, stir-fried with wheat bran until slightly yellow), Asafoetida 1 fen (coated in flour, roasted until cooked through).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 3 liang of dry lacquer (ground into a powder), mix with 2 sheng of strong vinegar, and simmer until it becomes a paste. Combine the paste with the herbal powder to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.
