Chinese Name : 牛髓补虚寒丸

Drug Formulation

1 sheng of ox marrow, 1 sheng of deer marrow, 1 sheng of sheep marrow, 1 sheng of white honey, 1 sheng of ghee-processed jujube pulp (ground into a paste), 4 fen of ginseng, 10 jin of raw rehmannia root (sliced, soaked in 2 sheng of wine for 1–3 nights, removed and sun-dried, then returned to the wine until all liquid is absorbed and the root is completely dried), 4 fen of cassia bark,4 fen of Poria, 5 fen of Dried Ginger, 5 fen of White Atractylodes, 5 fen of Ligusticum, and 6 fen of Licorice.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with the five types of marrow, and simmer over low heat while stirring. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Initially take 30 pills, gradually increasing to 40 pills per dose, twice daily, washed down with warm, clear wine.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, raw scallions, wild mustard, peaches, plums, sparrow meat, and vinegar.
