Drug Formulation

1 pig pancreas, 4 liang of Beijing-style Curcuma zedoaria, 4 liang of Artemisia argyi and Curcuma zedoaria (boil these two ingredients in vinegar until thoroughly permeated, then slice, roast, and grind into a powder) (combine these two ingredients with the pig pancreas and cinnabar to make a paste), 2 liang of Sichuan melia fruit (pitted),2 liang of Chinese yam, 2 liang of areca nut, 2 liang of Trifoliate Orange Peel (pulp removed, stir-fried with wheat bran), 2 liang of Fennel (stir-fried), 2 liang of Aconite Root (roasted, skin and navel removed), and half a liang of realgar.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with the pig pancreas and realgar paste, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using vinegar paste.

Instructions for Use
