Drug Formulation

1 jin of lead, 2 liang of mercury (first melt the lead; immediately add the mercury; when a floral halo appears on the surface of the lead, skim it off with an iron spoon and grind it finely in a mortar), 1 stem of soapberry (if not worm-eaten, coat it with butter and roast until yellow; remove the skin and seeds; add 1 qian of musk; grind together into a fine powder).

Instructions for Use

Each time, take 1 qian bi of soapberry powder, add 1 medium bowl of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain out the residue, let it cool to a warm temperature, and take it after meals mixed with half a qian bi of lead-yellow powder.
