Processing
Use a total of 20 jin of oil; decoct in batches until the elixir is obtained.Then add 80 liang of raw gypsum, 4 liang of cold-water stone, 1 liang of indigo powder, 2 liang each of oyster shell powder and mirabilite, and 4 liang of bovine glue. Steam with wine until dissolved. After the mixture has thickened, stir until warm. Test with a single drop; if it does not burst, proceed. Stir over a thousand times to ensure uniformity—the more stirring, the better. Do not stir until beads form, as this weakens the formula and prevents it from adhering properly.
