Drug Formulation

Half a liang of red peony root, half a liang of licorice, half a liang of talc, 1 liang of croton seed (peeled, stir-fried, ground separately before adding), 1 liang of black pharbitis (half raw, half stir-fried), 1 fen of natron, and 1 fen of rhubarb.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, then form into pills the size of mung beans using wheat flour paste.

Instructions for Use

Take 15 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of gold, silver, and mint just before bedtime; gradually increase the dose to 20 pills. Follow with Licorice Powder.
