Drug Formulation

Cimicifuga (Shengma) 4 liang, Burdock Seed (Niubangzi) 4 liang, Sesame Seed (Huma) 4 liang, White Fresh Bark (Baixianpi) 4 liang, Forsythia (Lianqiao) 4 liang, Asarum (Xichangcao) 4 liang, Sophora Root (Kushen) 4 liang, Mulberry Parasite (Sangjisheng) 4 liang, Chinese Angelica (Danggui) 4 liang, Huai Rehmannia (Huai Shengdi) 4 liang, Chinese Gentian (Qinjiao) 4 liang, Goji Berries (Gouqizi) 4 liang, Areca Nut (Binlang) 4 liang, Polygonum Multiflorum (Heshouwu) 4 liang,1 turtle shell (preferably weighing 1 liang), 1 liang Campsis flower, 1 liang Chuanxiong, 1 liang Da Feng Rou (de-oiled and boiled with Chuanwu), 1 liang Fangji, 2 liang tiger leg bone (roasted with butter), 2 liang dried tangerine peel, 2 liang Achyranthes root, 2 liang Chrysanthemum flowers, 2 liang Lithospermum root, 2 liang Sea Wind Vine,Papaya 2 liang, Eucommia 1 liang 2 qian, Licorice 1 liang 5 qian, White Angelica 1 liang 2 qian, Coix Seed 6 liang, Sesame 2 he, Frankincense 3 jin (boil 4–5 times, changing the water with river water as needed; additionally, crush 10 liang of Sichuan Aconite, decoct to yield 1 bowl of liquid, add the frankincense, and boil until the liquid is completely reduced; then use 4 liang of Fangfeng,Acorus tatarinowii 4 liang, Schizonepeta tenuifolia 4 liang, Atractylodes lancea 4 liang; decoct to yield 1 bowl of liquid, add frankincense, and boil until the liquid is completely evaporated; additionally, use Acorus tatarinowii 4 jin, pound to extract 1 bowl of juice, add frankincense, and boil until dry, then grind into powder; for every 1 jin of prepared frankincense, use 1 dou of these medicinal ingredients).

Processing

Take 3 jin of fresh soapberry thorns, crush them, decoct in water, strain out the residue, and boil down to a paste; mix in the preceding herbs to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Instructions for Use

Initial dose: 1 qian and 5 fen; after 3 days, take 2 qian; after another 3 days, take 2 qian and 5 fen; after yet another 3 days, take 3 qian, and stop. After 20 days of treatment, the fingers will feel sore and numb when extended; after one month, the complexion will become clear and radiant; and after 100 days of treatment, the condition will be cured.
