Drug Formulation

Frankincense 1 qian, Myrrh 1 qian (sweat it out, grind finely, and mix with the other ingredients), Sichuan Fritillary Bulb (core removed, stir-fried) 1 qian, Realgar 1 qian, Coptis 1 qian, Trichosanthes Root 1 qian (raw), Rhubarb (half-stir-fried, half-raw) 2 qian, Licorice 7 fen, Red Peony Root 2 qian (stir-fried), Borneol 1.5 fen, Ox Gallstone 2 fen, Pearl 4 fen(Grind until no sound is heard).

Instructions for Use

If latent toxins remain within the smallpox lesions, causing incessant crying and failure to rise for days, with concurrent abscesses or carbuncles, administer this powder mixed with honey water. If the smallpox lesions show signs of scratching, clustering, or if the spots appear withered, dry, withered, purple-black, or hard and板硬, mix this powder with oil and rouge, apply it to cotton paper to form a plaster, and affix it to the affected area.
