Drug Formulation

3 liang and a half of Ning Shui Shi (calcined until bright red, ground into a fine powder), 1 fen of Gypsum (calcined until bright red, ground into a fine powder), Yangqi Stone (calcined until bright red, ground into a fine powder)1 qian and 1 zi, Tiannanxing (roasted until cracked, peel removed, ground into a fine powder) half a qian, Tianxiong (roasted until cracked, peel and navel removed, ground into a fine powder) half a qian, Caowutou (roasted until cracked, peel and navel removed, ground into a fine powder) half a qian, Baifuzi (roasted, ground into a fine powder) half a qian, dried scorpion (soil removed, stir-fried, ground into a fine powder) half a qian, white silkworm pupae (stir-fried, ground into a fine powder) half a qian,Cicada Shell (removed from soil, dried in an oven, and ground into powder) half qian; Borneol (ground), Musk (ground) 1 qian; Sea Clam (burned until red-hot, finely ground) 2 liang.

Processing

Grind the above herbs together again until fine, mix in 1.5 qian of wheat flour until uniform, and form into pills the size of a chicken’s egg using refined honey.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill at a time, chew it thoroughly, and swallow it with a decoction of Schizonepeta and mint; tea or wine may also be used. Take at any time.
