Drug Formulation

Licorice (roasted) 6 liang, Ginseng 3 liang, Platycodon (lightly roasted) 3 liang, Green Tangerine Peel (pitted) 3 liang, White Angelica 3 liang, Dried Pueraria 3 liang, Atractylodes 3 liang, Dried Ginger (roasted) 5 qian and a half (one version omits licorice).

Instructions for Use

Take 2 qian per dose; add 1 zhan of water, 2 slices of fresh ginger, and 2 jujubes; decoct until reduced to 7 fen; drink while warm; if for typhoid fever, add fermented soybeans and decoct together; take while hot, regardless of the time of day.
