Drug Formulation

1 dou of Atractylodes (peel thoroughly, wash and drain until slightly damp, then finely chop).

Processing

Grind the above into a fine powder, then steep it in 2 sheng of clear wine in a clean earthenware jar for one day and one night. Strain out the residue, transfer the liquid to a copper vessel, and simmer it in a double boiler. Add 1 jin of white honey and 4 liang of donkey-hide gelatin, and simmer until well blended. When the mixture reaches the consistency of a paste, shape it into pills the size of a marble, let them dry, and store them in a non-porous container.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill at a time, chew it thoroughly, and swallow it with wine, three times a day.
