Drug Formulation

1 qian of Wood Fragrance, 1 qian of Agarwood, 1 qian of Fennel (lightly roasted), 1 qian of Areca Nut, 2 qian of Water Shield, 5 qian of Lycopodium, 1.5 liang of Barley Malt, 1 liang of Rhubarb (lightly roasted and dried).

Instructions for Use

Take 3–5 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine at the fifth watch. Those able to drink may safely consume an additional 2–3 cups. Lie on your back with your hands crossed over your chest; continue until dawn. The formula is effective when the stool resembles fish brains and the urine appears bloody.

Note

Avoid raw, cold, or hard foods, as well as meat and fish; consume only rice porridge.
