Drug Formulation

Ginseng 2 fen, Angelica sinensis 2 fen, Licorice (roasted) 2 fen,Cinnamon Bark 2 fen, Scutellaria Root 4 fen, Dragon Bone 4 fen, Snake Shed Skin 1 cun (roasted), Realgar 6 pieces, Dung Beetles 7 (roasted, naturally deceased), Mulberry Cuttlefish 5, Sparrows 5 (roasted), Earthenware Jars 5 (roasted), Dew-Soaked Bee Hive 1 (roasted).

For childhood convulsions, with trembling of the hands and feet, and a bluish discoloration of the entire body and face, occurring intermittently.

Instructions for Use

Boil 5 sheng of water until reduced to 1 sheng; strain and drink the decoction. Alternatively, grind the ingredients into a fine powder, sieve it, and take half a fangcun bi. If the child does not vomit or have a bowel movement, administer ox gallstone. If the child cannot swallow the powder, mix it with breast milk to form pills and administer 4–5 doses daily.
