Drug Formulation

Sour pomegranate peel (lightly roasted) 1 liang, dried ginger (roasted) 1 liang, Phellodendron bark (coarse outer bark removed, roasted; if Phellodendron bark is unavailable, Coptis can be used instead) 3 fen, donkey-hide gelatin (roasted until dry) 3 fen.

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 qian per dose; use 1 zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 4 fen, strain, and take warm on an empty stomach.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, pork, and greasy foods.
