Drug Formulation
1 jin of purple quartz, 1 jin of white quartz (crushed to the size of rice grains; simmer in 9 sheng of strong wine over low heat in a copper vessel until reduced to 3 sheng; stir continuously with a bamboo whisk; strain to remove dregs and clarify the liquid), 1 jin of dried rehmannia root, 5 liang of dendrobium, 1 liang of biota seed, 1 liang of polygala,2 liang of Poria, 2 liang of Ginseng, 2 liang of Cinnamon Bark, 2 liang of Dried Ginger, 2 liang of Atractylodes, 2 liang of Schisandra,Cistanche 2 liang, licorice 2 liang, Aconite 2 liang, Angelica dahurica 2 liang, Asarum 2 liang, Ligusticum 2 liang, Astragalus 2 liang, Cornus officinalis 2 liang, Ophiopogon 2 liang, Saposhnikovia 2 liang, Dioscorea 2 liang, white honey 3 jin, clarified butter 1 sheng, peach kernels 3 sheng.

Processing
Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, add it to the decoction, and if the mixture is insufficient, add wine until the desired consistency is reached. Simmer until it can be formed into pills, then shape into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.
