Drug Formulation

2 fen of Chinese yam, 14 fen of licorice, 4 fen of Alisma, 4 fen of ginseng, 4 fen of Scutellaria, 3 fen of Angelica, 3 fen of Poria, 3 fen of Cinnamon Bark, 3 fen of Saposhnikovia, 3 fen of Ophiopogon, 2 fen of soybean sprouts, 2 fen of Platycodon, 2 fen of peony, 2 fen of Cornus, 2 fen of Aster,Atractylodes macrocephala 2 fen, Ligusticum chuanxiong 2 fen, Dried ginger 2 fen, Sichuan pepper 2 fen, Dried Rehmannia glutinosa 2 fen (Pound and sift the above 20 ingredients), Raw Rehmannia glutinosa 18 jin (Pound and squeeze to extract the juice; decoct until reduced by half), Hemp seeds 3 sheng (ground), Jujubes 80 pieces, Honey 3 sheng,8 liang of mixed marrow from roe deer and deer, 8 liang of deer antler gelatin, 5 sheng of mulberry root bark (avoid those that naturally emerge from the ground on ridges, as they are highly toxic; strictly avoid those found along the edges of ditches beneath house walls or fences, as they are all unsuitable).

Processing

Boil white mulberry bark, hemp seeds, and jujubes in 2 dou 4 sheng of clear wine until reduced to 1 dou; strain out the residue. Then add the Rehmannia juice, gelatin, marrow, and honey, and simmer until reduced by half. Incorporate the powdered mixture of the aforementioned herbs and simmer until the mixture is suitable for forming pills the size of a chicken egg yolk.

Take 1 pill per dose, three times daily, gradually increasing to 3 pills.
