Instructions for Use
Take 1 pill with the decoction described below. For common colds, headaches, fever, and pain in the joints and throughout the body, use 2 qian of roasted ginger to prepare a decoction, dissolve 1 pill in it, and take it; recovery will follow once sweating begins. For cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, use 2 qian of roasted ginger and 3 qian of hearth soil to prepare a decoction, dissolve 1 pill in it, and take it. For watery diarrhea, use 3 fen of Sichuan Coptis (stir-fried with ginger juice) to prepare a decoction, dissolve 1 pill in it, and take it;For malaria, use 3 qian of roasted ginger and 3 black dates; decoct in water one hour before the onset of a malaria attack and dissolve one pill in the decoction; for bloody dysentery, use 3 qian of honeysuckle and 3 fen of Coptis chinensis; decoct in water and dissolve one pill in the decoction; for white dysentery, use 2 qian of roasted ginger and 3 jujubes; decoct in water and dissolve one pill in the decoction;For epidemic diseases, use 5 qian of red adzuki beans and 3 fen of mint; boil in water and dissolve 1 pill in the decoction; for rashes, use 1 qian of rat feces; soak in water and dissolve 1 pill in the decoction; for pregnant women, use 1 qian 5 fen of amomum and 3 fen of stir-fried scutellaria; boil in water and dissolve 1 pill in the decoction; for postpartum women, use 8 qian of angelica and 3 qian of motherwort; boil in water and dissolve 1 pill in the decoction.Adults: 1 pill; children: half a pill.
