Drug Formulation

3 fen of mantis (roasted until yellow), 7 snail eggs (roasted until slightly yellow), 7 cicada shells (lightly roasted), 1 fen of cloves, 1 fen of toad venom (ground into the mixture), 1 qian of powdered musk, 1 fen of earthworm (lightly roasted), and 1 qian of snake-shed skin ash.

Instructions for Use

Take half a qian per dose. First, bathe the child in a decoction of peach and willow; then, mix the medicine with congee and administer it. Immediately cover the child with a blue cloth; worms should emerge on their own. Cases with red or white discharge are easy to treat; those with blue or black discharge are difficult to treat.
