Drug Formulation

1 Shi Jue Ming (thoroughly washed and pounded separately), 2 liang Bai Yangqi Stone (steamed five times over rice, then ground), 2 liang Magnetite (steamed five times over rice, then ground), 2 liang Aged Tangerine Peel (soaked in hot water, white pith removed, then roasted), 2 liang Gardenia Flowers, 2 liang Cistanche (rough outer skin removed, sliced, then roasted),Black Stone (steamed five times over rice, ground) 2 liang, Ginseng 2 liang, Ginger (sliced, roasted) 2 liang, Magnolia Bark (coarse bark removed, roasted with ginger juice, chopped) 2 liang, Sophora Root 2 liang, White Angelica Root 2 liang, Scutellaria Root (black core removed) 2 liang, Licorice Root (roasted, chopped) 2 liang,Poria (black skin removed) 2 liang, Cinnamon Bark (coarse bark removed) 2 liang, Fangfeng (branches removed) 2 liang, Apricot Kernels (skin, tips, and double kernels removed; stir-fried; ground) 2 liang, Cimicifuga 8 liang, Raw Rehmannia (roasted) 8 liang, Borneol (ground) 1 fen, Coptis (stems removed) 4 liang, Ophiopogon (core removed; roasted) 4 liang,Acacia seeds (roasted) 4 liang, Phellodendron bark (with coarse outer bark removed) 4 liang, Plantain seeds 4 liang, Frankincense (ground) 4 liang, Cnidium seeds 3 liang, Blue fenugreek seeds 3 liang, Cuttlefish bone (with shell and salt removed) 1 liang.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with refined honey, and form into pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use

Take 6 pills per dose on an empty stomach with rice water; eat immediately after taking the dose. After eating, take an additional 10 pills. Gradually increase the dose to 20 pills, adding the extra dose only after meals, not before. After meals, continue to take the pills with a decoction of milk.

Note

For two years, avoid pungent foods, hot noodles, and stale foods; for one year, avoid sheep’s head, liver, and intestines; donkey, horse, and rabbit meat; and poisonous fish.
