Drug Formulation

5 qian of copper patina, 4 qian of alum, 3 qian of bismuth sulfate, 1 liang of gallnut (lightly roasted), 5 qian of Bletilla striata, 2 qian of mercury oxide, 2 qian of curcuma, and 3 fen of musk.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Use one bowl of aged rice vinegar and simmer in a ladle over low heat until reduced to one small cup; stop when golden-yellow bubbles form. Allow to cool until warm, then stir 1 qian of the above mixture into the ointment.

Instructions for Use

Each time, warm the ointment gently; use a new brush to apply the ointment to the base of the sore, then cover the base with cotton paper. Wrinkles will naturally form, and the area will gradually contract and tighten; if it does not reopen, the treatment is effective.
