Drug Formulation

1 liang of Coptis, 4 liang of Rhubarb, 4 liang of Phellodendron, 4 liang of Scutellaria, 3 jin of sesame oil, 1 jin of beeswax.

Processing

Soak Coptis, Rhubarb, Phellodendron, and Scutellaria in sesame oil for one day. Then, simmer over low heat until the herbs are completely dried out. Remove the residue and strain the liquid. Add beeswax and continue simmering over low heat until it slowly forms a paste.

Apply the ointment evenly to gauze and apply it to the affected area.
