Instructions for Use

The formula consists of 78 medicinal ingredients and 4 minor ingredients. Use 24 jin of genuine sesame oil to make 1 large batch. Use 2 liang of each medicinal ingredient; add fine powders according to the prescribed amounts; calculate the amount of external Huangdan based on the oil ratio. Apply the plaster to the appropriate acupoints for all conditions.For the “Five Exhaustions and Seven Injuries,” injuries from carrying heavy loads, pain in the tendons and bones throughout the body, weakness in the lower back and legs, and aching joints, apply to both Gaomang acupoints, both Shen acupoints, and the Zusanli acupoint; for phlegm-induced wheezing, shortness of breath, coughing, and sputum production, apply to the Feishu acupoint; for left-sided paralysis and right-sided weakness, along with numbness in the hands and feet, apply to the Jianjing acupoint and both Quchi acupoints;For men with nocturnal emissions or leukorrhea, and for women with red or white vaginal discharge, irregular menstruation, or heavy menstrual bleeding and metrorrhagia, apply patches to the Yin Jiao acupoint; for red or white dysentery, apply to the Dan Tian acupoint; for malaria, men should apply to the left arm and women to the right arm; for lower back and back pain, apply to the Ming Men acupoint;For small intestine hernia, apply patches to both Bladder points; for one-sided or general headaches, apply to the Fengmen point; for pain caused by disharmony between the heart and stomach, tightness in the chest and diaphragm, and abdominal distension, apply to the Zhongwan point; for wandering pain throughout the body, apply to both Zhangmen points; for cold-damp beriberi, apply to both Sanli points;For all cases of unexplained toxic conditions, boils on the back, syphilitic scrofula, lumps, abscesses and swellings, traumatic injuries, and breast disorders in women, there is no need to locate specific acupoints; simply apply the patch directly to the affected area.
