Chinese Name : 胃爱丸

Drug Formulation

1 liang of Yun-style Atractylodes (fresh white variety; soak in rice washing water to remove astringency, slice, sun-dry, then stir-fry with barley malt), 1 liang of Huaiqing Chinese Yam (plump, large, and of superior white quality; slice, moisten with male breast milk, allow to dry until slightly moist, then sun-dry and lightly roast),1 liang of Shangbai Poria (sliced 1 fen thick, coarsely chopped; steam with 2 qian of Amomum villosum on top of rice in a bowl until cooked; use only the Poria), 1 liang of Qinghe Ginseng (processed and sun-dried; grind both into a fine powder), 3 qian of White Cardamom, 6 qian of Dried Tangerine Peel (first stir-fried with aged rice until yellow, then stir-fried together; dry slightly without burning),5 qian of young perilla (thoroughly mixed with honey, sun-dried, lightly steamed for a short time, then sliced along with the stems and leaves), 5 qian of lotus seed (peeled, pitted, and sliced), and 3 qian of licorice (roasted).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Lightly roast 2 he of aged rice, grind it into flour, and mix with lotus leaf decoction to form a paste. Shape into pills the size of a tung tree seed.
