4 liang of Angelica sinensis, 4 liang of Qingfeng藤, 4 liang of Haifeng藤, 4 liang of Chuanxiong, 4 liang of Lingxian, 4 liang of Wood Apple, 6 liang of Atractylodes macrocephala (fried with wheat bran),Angelica dahurica 6 liang, Achyranthes bidentata 8 liang, Safflower 8 liang, Chrysanthemum 8 liang, Acanthopanax bark 1 jin, Guangpi 1 jin, Codonopsis (root stem removed) 1 jin 8 liang, Turmeric 1 jin 8 liang, Dehuo 2 liang, Processed Aconite root 2 liang, Processed Aconite tuber 2 liang, Nutmeg (baked with talc) 3 liang,Sandalwood 4 liang, Cardamom seeds 3 liang, Cloves 2 liang, Amomum 2 liang, Guangxi Frankincense 2 liang, Cinnamon (with coarse bark removed) 2 liang, Polygonatum 4 jin.

Processing
First, place 400 jin of white liquor in a vat and steep 3 jin of gardenia in it until the flavor is sufficiently infused; then strain out the solids. Decoct each of the above herbs in water, strain out the solids, and filter thoroughly. Simmer the decoction until it becomes a thin paste. Dissolve 40 jin of rock sugar in this thin paste and mix it into the liquor.
