Drug Formulation

5–7 qian or 1 liang of Rehmannia glutinosa (prepared), 2 qian of Chinese yam (roasted), 2–3 qian of mung beans (roasted), 1–2 qian of licorice (roasted), 1.5 qian of Poria cocos, 2 qian of peony root (roasted until yellow), 20 schisandra berries, ginseng as needed, and 1–2 qian of Atractylodes macrocephala (roasted).
