Processing

Chop the ingredients, soak them in bamboo sap overnight, and the next morning, simmer them over charcoal fire with 5 sheng of lard, repeating the process of raising and lowering the pot nine times each. Continue until the Angelica dahurica turns yellow and a paste forms. Strain out the residue and transfer the paste to a non-porous container.
