Drug Formulation

1 toad (use the head, roast until golden brown, and grind into powder), 1 fen of Coptis chinensis, 1 fen of earthworm (cleaned of soil and stir-fried),1 fen of Wood Fragrance, 1 nutmeg (shell removed), 1.5 qian of Musk (ground), 1.5 qian of Coptis (stems removed), 1 qian of Night-Bright Sand, 1 qian of White Wuti (ground into powder), and 2 qian of Cinnabar (ground).

Processing

Combine toad, ground Wu-ti, 2 wild boar gallbladders, and 1 zhan of medicinal wine; decoct into a paste, then mix with the remaining powdered herbs to form pills the size of millet grains.
