Drug Formulation

1 jin of dried shrimp (peeled and shelled; stir-fry with rock salt and wine until dry, fragrant, and fully cooked), 1 pair of genuine geckoes (roasted with rock salt and wine until crisp), 4 liang of fennel (stir-fried with rock salt and wine), and 4 liang of cleaned Sichuan pepper (prepared as above; do not overcook).

Processing

The above ingredients must be prepared using 2 sheng of cloudy, boiled wine; strong wine with floating maggots is best. Stir in rock salt to prepare the mixture. First, prepare the geckoes, Sichuan pepper skins, and fennel; once dry, prepare the dried shrimp by soaking them in wine until just saturated. When fully cooked, mix the first three ingredients evenly, combine with coarsely ground southern frankincense, and while still hot, transfer the mixture into a porcelain container. Seal the container tightly on all sides, allow it to cool, and then use as needed.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 spoonful per dose, chewing it thoroughly with salted wine on an empty stomach.
